Product Updates: How to Reach Prospects More Effectively Using New Timezone Features

We’re excited to introduce two new features in PersistIQ to help you communicate with your prospects in a more timely manner.

  1. Send messages in your prospect’s timezone
  2. Automatic timezone detection

These new updates help you deliver messages at the right time to prospects located anywhere in the world.

You’re probably prospecting leads all over the world from Kiev to Carolina, from Berlin down to Belize. This means you’re dealing with multiple timezones. As a smart and sophisticated sales rep, you know that personalization and customization go beyond the words that you use – it applies to context too. Gary Vaynerchuck, one of the greatest salespeople of our generation (in my humble opinion) says that “If content is king, then context is God.”

Many things go into context, and timing in a big one. Everyone is in the search for the best time to send an email, and everyone is in disagreement. A study comes out saying one thing, then the next week another study contradicts it. Though there is no single best time, there is one thing that we know – sending in the middle of the night is a losing strategy.

Here’s a challenge that reps face today. Imagine yourself prospecting on LinkedIn using some of your advanced prospecting tactics and targeting people all around the world. You come across someone who fits your buyer persona and put her into your campaign, then move on to the next. At the end of your prospecting hour, you have dozens of prospects you’ve added to your workflow.

Now, you want to send an email as part of your first touch. You apply a sending window to your campaign, which controls the days and times that emails will send.

However, putting your American and Ukrainian prospects into the same campaigns results in one getting a message in the middle of the day, while the other may get a message while she’s fast asleep.

PersistIQ has the solution!

Now, you can use an individual prospect’s timezone so all your prospects get your message at a specified window in their local time.

Create one sending window, let’s say from 9am to 5pm on weekdays, and have the emails send land in your prospect’s inboxes at the right time.

Prospect Timezone in Sending WindowsYou can create as many sending windows as you like and even share them with your team.

To make your job even easier, PersistIQ now automatically detects and applies a timezone to each prospect based on city/state or phone number.

Simply import new prospects or make any changes to existing prospects and the PersistIQ system will update the timezone for you.

Automatic Timezone Detection

In the example above, I enter San Francisco, CA, then refresh the page and the timezone is automatically applied.

We have more exciting product updates coming soon! As always, let us know how we can make PersistIQ better for you.
